I dispatched my #ptpx cards early last month after a busy weekend of plotting. I love sending and receiving mail, and translating some pattern from my sketchbook into code and back onto paper again is proving to be a favorite annual ritual. The design is a single-line drawing structured on distorted fragments of a hexagonal grid; each recipient got a unique design.
I’m very happy with the look of the silver Gelly Roll ink on the black Fabriano paper, maybe not ideal for postcards as such, but I figure the pen plotter people receiving them will probably have a suitable pen around.
I like finding cow-catcher shapes in this series.
